Banking

Promoting financial inclusion and micro-entrepreneurship. We support credit unions and micro-finance initiatives that serve the “unbanked” and underrepresented. By providing the tools for financial literacy and small business capital, we help individuals build lasting economic independence.

Financial systems are the lifeblood of economic mobility, yet many individuals and small entrepreneurs find themselves “unbanked” or unable to access the credit they need to grow. We work to democratize access to financial tools, ensuring that the Banking and Finance sector serves the people rather than just the markets.

Our Strategic Focus Areas:

  • Micro-Capital for Entrepreneurs: We provide the seed funding for those who lack traditional collateral. These small, targeted grants allow street vendors, artisans, and service providers to scale their businesses and move toward long-term independence.
  • Financial Literacy & Coaching: Money is a tool that requires a manual. We fund community workshops that teach debt management, credit building, and investment strategies, empowering individuals to take control of their financial destinies.
  • Support for Credit Unions: We partner with local, member-owned financial institutions that prioritize community reinvestment. Our grants help these institutions expand their lending capacity to underserved neighborhoods.
  • Predatory Lending Alternatives: We fund emergency “low-to-no-interest” loan pools that provide an alternative to high-interest payday lenders, helping the needy escape cycles of debt during family emergencies.

Our vision for the finance sector is one of inclusion, where every person has the bank account, the credit score, and the capital they need to build a stable life.
